Therapy for the things

that are hard to say.

Psychotherapy, counselling and mentoring for adults.

Who we are

We're a small practice and we keep it that way on purpose. Everyone here is experienced — we're not trying to do quantity over quality.

We started out working with people in and around the creative industries, because that's where we came from: thirty years in music, and a working life that never fitted a Tuesday at four. Touring, freelance, different time zones, unsociable hours. A lot of our clients still come from that world.

It isn't who we're only for. People come to us with anxiety, grief, addiction, relationships, work, financial insecurity, and quite often with something they've been carrying quietly for years and have run out of people to say it to. Therapy is for everybody — it's about finding the right match for you.

No issue is too small or too big.

What people bring us

Anxiety, depression, addiction and recovery, grief and loss, trauma, relationships, insomnia, work and stress.

And the ones that are harder to say out loud: imposter syndrome, money fear that doesn't lift in a good year, drinking that's quietly become a question, creative work that's stopped meaning anything.

Some people arrive knowing exactly what's wrong. Plenty start with "I don't really know where to begin", which is a perfectly good place to begin.

Areas Of Practice

Listen Up and Listen In…

Therapists Couch

Therapy

Weekly fifty-minute sessions with a registered practitioner. Short-term, around six to twelve weeks, or open-ended. Online or in-person with one of our team of therapists. £100 a session.

Person Meditating

Meditation

Self-study and group courses, taught properly. Meditation is not therapy and therapy is not meditation, but they work well together. You decide what's right for you.

Mentoring

A different room to therapy. Mentoring looks at how the work is actually arranged — the decisions, the direction, the way a week is built — rather than only at how it feels from inside.

“Listening is an attitude of the heart, a genuine desire to be with another which both attracts and heals.”
